DRIVE PASS

  • National Museum: An overview of Malaysian history and culture, housed in a building showcasing traditional Malay architecture, located near Perdana Lake Gardens.
  • Chinatown (Petaling Street): A lively, colorful area known for its covered market with fashion, products, and local arts, plus diverse eateries and historic temples.
  • Lake Gardens (Perdana Botanical Gardens): A 92-hectare recreational park with lush greenery, jogging tracks, two man-made lakes, and various themed gardens.

  • National Monument: A bronze sculpture commemorating those who died in Malaysia's struggle for freedom during WWII and the Malayan Emergency.
  • Sultan Abdul Samad Building: A late 19th-century colonial-era building with iconic architecture, located opposite Independence Square.
  • King's Palace (Istana Negara): The impressive official residence of the King of Malaysia, opened in 2011.
  • Independence Square (Dataran Merdeka): A historic site where Malaysia's independence was declared on August 31, 1957, located in front of the Sultan Abdul Samad Building.
  • Petronas Twin Towers: Iconic twin skyscrapers, once the world's tallest buildings, now a landmark of Kuala Lumpur connected by a sky bridge.
  • National Mosque (Masjid Negara): A bold, modern mosque accommodating 15,000 people, symbolizing independent Malaysia, known for its distinct architecture.
