What to Expect

Located in Seri Kembangan, just 30 minutes from Kuala Lumpur, Farm in the City is a village-themed petting zoo that lets you interact with over 100 species of animals. Unlike traditional zoos, this 7-acre park has an open-concept design where animals roam freely in natural-style enclosures without cages. It's a great place to learn about farm life, wildlife, and conservation.


Highlights and Attractions

  • Walk-thru Free-Flight Bird Aviary: Enter a large enclosure where various species of birds fly freely. You can feed and pet them while enjoying their songs.
  • Reptiles Cavern: This unique area is home to pythons, monitor lizards, and mangrove snakes. Be sure to look all around, as they might be hiding on branches above you!
  • Moods Lake: A lake filled with different types of geese, ducks, and swans, including mandarin ducks and pelicans. You can also ring a bell to call thousands of koi fish to the surface.
  • Rabbit & Pet Village: Get up close with cuddly rabbits and guinea pigs. You can feed them fresh vegetables and play with them in this dedicated area.
  • Traditional Longkang Fishing: Experience the old Malaysian pastime of catching fish in a "longkang" or drain. It's a fun activity for parents and children to do together.
  • Jungle Walk: Take a stroll through a jungle-like path to see animals like crested porcupines, Kirk Dik-Dik, and cheeky marmosets. You might also spot rare white peacocks and iguanas.
  • Malaysian Vegetables and Fruit Farm: Walk through a section designed to look like a traditional Malaysian village, complete with a farm and orchard featuring over 100 types of tropical fruit trees.
