What to Expect

Escape the city for a day trip to Colmar Tropicale French Village, a picturesque resort 2,700 feet up in the highlands of Pahang. This village, modeled after the 18th-century town of Colmar in France, transports you to Europe with its cobblestone courtyard, colorful shophouses, and a cuckoo clock tower inspired by France's Riquewihr Tower.


The trip begins with a stop at Batu Caves, a famous Hindu temple with a massive 140-foot golden statue of Lord Murugan. You can climb 272 steps to the top for a breathtaking view of Kuala Lumpur and visit the Murugan Temple inside the cave.


Before heading to the French Village, you'll also stop at a handicraft center to see local items like batik paintings and rattan furniture, and even try fresh honey.


Once at Colmar Tropicale, you can breathe in the cool mountain air and explore the village's beautiful European architecture.


The journey continues to a tranquil Japanese village, where you can rent a kimono for the perfect photo opportunity. You'll then visit a botanical garden to see unique plants and serene koi ponds before the final stop at a rabbit farm, where you can feed and play with rabbits, birds, and donkeys.
